Cream Gravy recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb of spiced pork sausage.
2 tablespoons of butter OR sausage grease.
¼ cup of flour.
Garlic, to taste.
Salt, to taste.
Ground black pepper, to taste.
2 cups of milk.

Directions:

Cook the sausage; drain.

Either retain a portion of the drippings from the sausage meat OR melt the butter and add the flour.

Simmer for a while, then add the milk.

Heat until thickened.

Season with garlic, salt and pepper.

Add the sausage to gravy after your desired thickness is reached. If it doesn't get thick enough, add more flour until it does.
